ABOUT THE COMPOSER

Jaalah Ward is an award winning pianist and composer from Kelowna BC. Her musical journey started at the age of 4, when she quickly fell in love with the piano. Jaalah excelled through the levels of piano examinations and achieved her Associate Diploma of the Royal Conservatory of Music in her teenage years. Since then she has spent years teaching piano, performing original compositions, and composing orchestral soundtracks for fiction and films. Jaalah infuses her music with deep and impactful emotion, connecting both to the center of the stories at hand, and with the hearts of her audience. She finds the most freedom in writing orchestrally and atmospherically for both film and TV.
